I love San Carlos

Because I love San Carlos City
  • I just love this small tailor shop which existed in the very very same condition as shown on the picture in 1995, when I married in San Carlos and they have manufactured ALL of our wedding cloth for all people who attended our wedding. A wonderful and still alive remembrance when passing this shop whenever I come back to SCC ! High respect they were able to keep their business since then !!!
  • Dexter's Pizza with its spacious function hall as well as 2 other activity rooms (good for 30-50 pax) plays a significant role in the food business of San Carlos. Since its opening, it continuously earn the local's patronage; these days, it is a sought after venue for weddings, christenings, birthdays, business meets and even lgu events. With its sister business 10.9 Resto to complete its menu offering, we can expect Dexter's Pizza to lead the city''s restaurant/catering business.
  • I really like the new Ortega's store they recently built up. What I like is the front of the store with its nice crystal glass. Its huge and I am sure, whenever this building has been painted it will look fabulous. But about the content of the store I only can write that the range of wedding gowns is just amazing and the quality as far as I know is really good. Not only that you can see flower bouquet's you also can rent wedding gowns to reasonable prices, thats great. I recommend future brides and grooms just to have a look and visit their store !

  • This will solve the problem of frequent black outs in the city From https://www.facebook.com/San-Carlos-City-INFO-Bits-718276051548567/ NGCP CONNECTS NORTH EASTERN NEGROS POWER LINES The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) announced its on-going project in the north eastern part of Negros Island along the peripheries of Occidental and Oriental areas particularly from San Carlos City up to Guihulngan City. Said announcement was made during NGCP’s project presentation at the Negros Association of Government Information Officers and Liaisons’ meeting held at Sugarland Hotel in Bacolod, Nov. 15, 2016. Said project aimed at giving flexible power supply and improving power reliability for San Carlos City to avert power shortage especially when the 69KV transmission from Cadiz City undergoes power maintenance operation. The same is expected for Guihulngan City and Vallehermoso since its power transmission also came from Amlan-Guihulngan power line, hence, stable power supply will be maintained when either transmission lines from Cadiz or Amlan will experience power interruption. Engr. Jessie Asuga, NGCP Project Chief for the Visayas Projects Division said that the 69KV San Carlos –Guihulngan project is now at 80% completion and expected to become operational in June of 2017. He said five barangays in San Carlos City were site areas for said transmission lines including Punao, Palampas, Rizal, Guadalupe and Buluangan.
